A temporary number to receive your OTP

Get a private one-time number, enter it where the app asks for your mobile, and read the OTP here in your browser. If the OTP never comes, you are refunded.

Receive an OTP online in three steps

  1. Choose the app that will send the OTP and a country, for example India. The price and live success rate appear before you pay.

  2. Copy the number we reserve for you and paste it into the app's mobile number field, then tap send OTP.

  3. The OTP shows up on this page as soon as the SMS lands. Enter it in the app before it expires.

What an OTP is, and why apps send one

OTP means one-time password: a short code, usually 4 to 6 digits, that an app sends by SMS to confirm that you control the mobile number you entered. It is valid for a few minutes and only once.

Apps use OTPs at sign-up and sometimes at login. For a sign-up OTP you only need the number for a moment, which is exactly what a temporary number is built for.

Temporary number for OTP in India

Many apps popular in India ask for a +91 number before they send the OTP. TempCode has Indian numbers for more than half of its services, and each service page lists India with its current price when stock is available.

The same works for Nigeria, Pakistan, the Philippines and other countries: pick the country the app expects, and you see whether it is delivering before you rent.

Why some OTP numbers fail

Apps protect their sign-up with checks on the number. Shared numbers from free OTP sites were used long ago and are blocked, and many apps refuse VoIP numbers outright. Both lead to the same result: you tap send OTP and nothing arrives.

A private operator number that has not been used on your app avoids both problems. Before you pay, the service page shows the live success rate for each country, so you can choose the one that is delivering OTPs right now instead of guessing.

When the OTP does not arrive

  • Wait a minute: some apps send the OTP with a delay, and it appears here the moment it lands.
  • Make sure you entered the number with the right country code.
  • If it still does not come, cancel. The credit returns to your balance immediately, and you can try another number or country.
  • If you do nothing, the number expires and the credit is returned automatically.

What an OTP number costs

TempCode is paid per code, starting at $0.75, from a balance you top up by card. Prices differ by app and country because operators charge differently, and every price is shown before you rent. There is no subscription.

You only pay for an OTP that arrives. Cancel before it comes, or let the number expire, and the credit is back in your balance for the next try.

Login OTPs need a number you keep

A temporary number is released after the first code. If an app sends an OTP every time you log in, or for password resets and payments, use a number you will keep. Temporary numbers are right for receiving one sign-up OTP, not for an account you will need to recover later.

OTP number questions

Is the OTP number free?

No. Free OTP numbers are public and shared, so most apps reject them or someone else reads the code. A TempCode number is private and starts at $0.75 per code, and you pay nothing if the OTP never arrives.

Can I get an Indian number for OTP?

Yes, for services with Indian stock. Choose India on the service page; the price and success rate are shown before you rent.

How fast does the OTP arrive?

Usually within seconds of the app sending it. The page updates by itself, so you do not need to refresh.

Can I receive a second OTP on the same number?

The number is meant for one code. Do not rely on it for later logins; use your own number for accounts you need to keep.

Is a virtual number for OTP the same as a VoIP number?

Not here. TempCode numbers are real mobile operator numbers, which apps that block VoIP numbers usually accept.
